ARTAZART

PLACEText: Jerome Lacote

Today, it’s a sunny day in Paris and I stroll near the canal Saint-Martin. For few years, this neighbourhood has become very attractive for graphic addicts. Thus, you can enjoy a pleasant bookshop called Artazart.

This shop is specialized in architecture, photography and graphic design. Nice salesmen help you to find the Designer Shock book, Noise4 by Attik or IdN pro or others great books.

Too, in this store, you can visit a showroom where photographers or artists regulary exhibit their works. The next event will be organised with the Lomographic society it will be a photographic challenge titled “just a normal lazy day” and a photos exhibition.

If you continue your walk, you can visit OFR. This shop sell a lot of magazines about design, fashion and from all the world.

Too, you can find a lot of books about photography and graphic design. Near, you can finish your stroll in the gallery Espace Beaurepaire. Currently three artists show their paints : Todd Narbey from New Zealand, David Gista and Monique Tello. I really appreciate David Gista, a french artist who lives in the USA. He melts a figurative style with a very graphic sensibility.
