2027 - The Radio GEMPEG Show

K “So, what are we gonna do?”
2 “Don’t ask me.”
K “We’re at a crossroads.”
2 “Is Mr. Hohman listening to this radio show now?”
K “Probably if he isn’t asleep.”
2 “Ha ha. What if he’s slepping……”
K “He shouldn’t be. I’m pretty sure he is listening.”
2 “Absolutely sure. He might be grinning on the other side of the radio.”
K “Well then, let’s make a bow (giving a quick bow).”
2 “Well, what do we do?”
K “Right. As a result after talking to Mr. Hohman, what I think is…………”
2 “It’s a long silence……”
K “…………………………………………”
2 “Too long. It seems like we have a trouble over the air.”
K “………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………”
2 “Hey! Say something!”
K “Well I’m thinking.”
2 “Then, think as long as you like.”
K “………………………………………………………………………………………………………………”
2 “……………………”
K “………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………”
2 “Too long! That’s enough!”
K “Well……………………, I think……………………, the point is……………………”
2 “Yeah, so what!?”
K “Sorry. Our primary principle of behavior was to promote the book GEMPEG, right?”
2 “Yeah. It’s promotion.”
K “The promotion thing got excited and we were like……”
2 “We got carried away a bit……”
K “Well, we are young and that’s the special privilege of the youth (laughs). Well we spoke too much. ‘Coz we are enjoying it.”
2 “Yeah, right. We had all the fans. We can speak well now.”
K “Right. And then we gained popularity. That’s ok, but the book is not out yet. We are planning to distribute it though.”
2 “Yeah. In the middle of those things, we got a phone call from a big guy Mr. Hohman the other day.”
K “Yeah, right. I know many of you are like who the heck is this Hohman guy? You all the audience should have no idea about Hohman without any explanation.”
2 “Yes, right. Seems like Mr. Hohman could buy up this show as a regular radio program. No one usually says something like this matter on the radio. But we do, because we’re honest.”
K “Can we say like Mr. Hohman picked us up?”
2 “Yes.”
K “Well, this show is a super popular radio program which is becoming a standard one for the people who have listened to it from the beginning, and is becoming a super fresh new star for the people who listened for the first time. Anyway, it’s getting popular. It’s becoming wide spread.”
2 “Then, Mr. Hohman liked it.”
K “We are glad. Mr. Hohman also worked on the radio.”
2 “Yes, many years ago.”
K “Then, he felt sympathy for us.”
2 “We are excited about it.”
K “But did you think seriously what putting money into it?”
2 “Ah? No. What’s wrong about it?”
K “Well, to put it straight, he might tell us do this thing and not that thing, you know!?”
2 “Would he?”
K “I don’t know yet.”
2 “Oh well, then you don’t trust Mr. Hohman? He doesn’t seem look like a worse guy than he actually is.”
K “No, no, I’m not talking things like that. What should I say, we’re at a crossroads.”
2 “Right. We might be at a crossroads once in a life time, which means we can get away from the part time job forever.”
K “Yeah, yeah. I want to quit the job as soon as possible.”
2 “Accordingly, we might be able to make a better radio show, right?”
K “Yes. He says he will pay for it.”
2 “It’s great we don’t have to call for goofing around anymore. More than that, the show might be moved from the illegal one to the public line.”
K “Yeah. But then, I’m a bit worried about loosing the roughness, groove and shady part of this illegal radio.”
2 “Yeah, right.”
K “Well, I think I did say quite well expression, roughness of the illegal radio.”
2 “Zakuien cannot say like that.”
K “Really?”
2 “Yeah. It’s a very earthy expression.”
K “Thank you. Ah, what are we talking about?”
2 “Yeah, we’re talking about Mr. Hohman. It’s about what you think, what we are gonna do.”
K “Yeah. How about fortune-telling?”
2 “Hey K, are you nervous?”
K “No, I’m not nervous! Man!”
2 “Yes, you are nervous! Oh god! You are like that.”
K “Sorry I’m like that.”
2 “What are we gonna do fighting here?”
K “You picked the fight first!”
2 “Did I?”
K “Yeah.”
2 “Well, enough about it. We are talking about holding our nerves! I want K to have more courage. You must have courage!”
K “Ah, yeah. I do have courage.”
2 “Right? You have courage. And I believe it.”
K “You make me embarrassed.”
2 “You don’t have time to be embarrassed. We have a chance right in front of us. Chance is love! Bang!”
K “What’s that?”
2 “It’s a Zakuien proverb. All Zakuiens know it. Chance is love coming around the universe.”
K “Ah, we have a mood to believe things like that. And it’s nice phrase. Chance is love. Only the Zakuien can say it.”
2 “Right? It’s important whether we can ride the love of chance or not.”
K “Aha.”
2 “So then, what are we gonna do?”
K “You are asking me too much. What about you?”
2 “Well, I……”
K “Gulp……”
2 “I don’t care either way honestly. Well, I’d like to quite my job and make the radio more exciting. And this is a great opportunity for us. Chance is love.”
K “Then, you’d like to go for it.”
2 “Yes. I’d like to go for it. I want to lay the future on the line.”
K “Yeah, well, I got it. But I’m a bit cool about it. I feel like I’m just in the middle.”
2 “I understand what you like to say. You are such a guy. I’ve known you for many years. Going faster so much doesn’t help. Mr. Hohman will wait for us. Well he may be listening to the show right now.”
K “Yeah.”
2 “Then, take it easy.”
K “Well, we will have a recess for the today’s show.”
2 “Awkward ending.”
K “It’s a serious issue.”
2 “Oh well……”
