DJ Extravaganza at the Purple Lounge.

Located in the heart of the famous Sunset Strip in Hollywood, the Standard Hotel is a popular venue for hipsters around the globe to get a taste of some fresh musical vibes. Whether by the poolside of the main lounge, or in the stylish space of the purple lounge, good times are guaranteed!

This time it was The Glass from New York who jumped on the decks at the purple lounge, taking turns as they enchanted the lovers of the night with their eclectic frequencies.

The Glass is made up of DJ Wool and Dominique Keegan, who met in their college days. They soon found that their musical urge was much stronger than their will to immerse into the studybooks, and they formed The Glass. With some mics and studio gear, the path was set for creating a unique mix of decidedly dirty, electro-leaning pop songs, reminiscent of Stereo MCs tunes.
A moody edge, contrasted against an obvious knack for funk, makes their music one of a kind. One of their latest hits“Mad at You”, is definitely one to check out.

Hypnotized by the chill and moody electronic sounds of “Mad at You”, I found it hard to be mad at anyone 😉 The Glass rocked!
