CLUBE DA BRAHMA
An illustrious night of Brazilian graphic design and short films at the legendary Standard Hotel in Hollywood.
Film, music & design oriented RES magazine keeps coming up with new events to showcase the work of international visual artists. After the presentation of the RES 10 artists for 2006, they have teamed up with the Clube da Brahma to present a selection of Brazlilian graphic design and animated short films.
They could hardly have chosen a more splendid location than the legendary Standard Hotel in Hollywood. With a nice and cosy lounge area, DJs and drinks by the pool, everyone was enjoying a mellow summer night, enchanted by the Brazilian art.
The Club Da Brahma was founded by the Brazilian beer brand Brahma in order to celebrate the Brazilian lifestyle and culture in selected venues around the world. It is part of the concept to transform ordinary spaces and create unique events. It is about the Brazilian lifestyle to feel “ginga” – the ability to live with effortless flair.

The short films were projected on a screen by the pool and featured the works of the following artists: Cadu Macedo, Lucas Camargo, Marcos Vaz & Andre Carneiro, Lobo, Luis Carone, Michael Arms & Luis Carone, Carlos Bela & Adriano Vannuchi.
