Pure Evil has always considered the moniker a bit over the top, but it does justify his artistic excursions into the darker side of people and their social ills. When asked why the celebrities are presented with elongated tears, he explains that “it’s an illustration of the heartbreak and sadness we have all experienced in relationships in the past.”

The Hong Kong rendition of Pure Evil’s Nightmare Series will include special edition works that tribute to beloved Hong Kong stars. Also not to miss is a live demonstration of Pure Evil’s screen print with his portable print kit. His style and insight into the world of street art is respected both in the commercial and academic art world. This is going to be his first solo exhibition in Hong Kong.
