Izumida, who currently lives and works in Tokyo, began painting as a child in Hokkaido and has also studied in the United States. She is an artist who has gained a great deal of sympathy through a wide range of expressive fields, including murals, store windows, advertisements, and collaborations with fashion brands, as well as her own works.

For Izumida, the magnificent nature, family, and friends of her hometown, Hokkaido, have provided the emotional support she needs to move forward with peace of mind in any situation. In this exhibition, Izumida will present new works that strongly reflect the nostalgia she felt in a world suspended by a pandemic.
