A young Zakuian, 21LO is one of the few friends of K’s. They always talk idly together. K decided to reveal his plan which he had been keeping inside.

The next morning. I visited 21LO’s place without having any breakfast.
I have no one to go to for advice, but him. And also, I know there is an old printer sitting in the barn at his house. I’m sure 21LO will like the book idea. He is that kind of man.

21LO and I went to a melt school. For Zakuian language, melt means “knowing as if seeing through one’s internal organs”. Moreover there is another meaning of “a buddy or an old friend”. It amazes me how the language of a planet that is located several light-years away falls in with that of the earth.

Anyway we share common tastes. He was drawing something weird at the school’s cafeteria. He told me that he was playing in a band, but that wasn’t true. Later I was told the band is actually a solo unit (the name is Truly Friend). Anyway I’m also the type of guy that has few friends, so we became friends rapidly.

We experienced a weird hallucination caused by eating a sort of violet berries that we found growing in the garden of a chemical factory located in the back of the school. We found ourselves skipping classes for 3 days. In addition, that was during the exams. Making use of this experience, we performed a live painting with psychedelic music at the school festival. Even though we painted hard, getting paints all over our bodies, we ended up turning other students off. I was humiliated by it as I recall, but it finally became a funny story.

There is another story. I had found 3 tablets laid out around the sink in the school janitor’s room and made a junior take them, this guy ran out of the room on his hands and knees like a cheetah to the school playground, jumped across the gates, and never came back. This really made us laugh hard.

The two of us also found a mime club. It all started with that we heard about David Bowie as a mime, and figured we’ve gotta do it too. But, as anticipated, we couldn’t get better, so we wrung money as club expenses out of the school to purchase an electric bike. With the bike we went to the beach and drove the bike with no limits all night long. My memories of those days are mixed together. It seems as if all of them happened within one day.

I arrived in front of 21LO’s house. The house was so called “Neo Japanese style house” which Zakuians like.
As similar to that the Japanese food served in other countries is strange, this Japanese style house looks quite strange. The house actually creates a sort of mondo atmosphere, but it may only attract you with a maniac imagination.

How many times have I visited his house? 21LO’s room is located on the south of the second floor, the best place in the sun. They had a dog in the garden before, but they let the dog loose in the mountain, as they felt silly about having a pet under the pet care protection law. An impressive story.
