Shuun‘s solo exhibition “ANIMALS” will start from September 1st to November 28th, at Cross Hotel Sapporo, as MACHINAKA ART-X_edition vol.17 which has been held by the hotel and Clark Gallery+SHIFT. He creates images with creatures and their world hiding in daily/non-daily life as motifs.
He, a Sapporo-based artist, has been exhibited at art fairs in Taipei, Tokyo and Sapporo with participating to various events. Audience is strongly attracted by the world created with overwhelming use of various colors, cuteness and terror, creatures with winsomeness and eeriness, and elaborate yet bold sense of humor, for example “mojamoja” series.
The opening reception will be held from 20:00 to 22:00 on September 19th, at “Meet Lounge” on the 2nd floor of Cross Hotel Sapporo. No reservation and free admission, please order one drink at least.
