CHANEL PRESENTS “LA GALERIE DU 19M TOKYO”
From September 30 to October 20, 2025, CHANEL’s le19M, the Parisian home of the Métiers d’art, travels to Tokyo for the first time with la Galerie du 19M Tokyo, a remarkable exhibition held on the 52nd floor of the Mori Tower. Conceived as a journey through creativity, craftsmanship, and dialogue, the exhibition brings together nearly 30 artisans, artists, and creative studios from Japan and France in a celebration of heritage and innovation.

Founded by CHANEL in 2021, le19M is both a sanctuary and a laboratory of savoir-faire, housing eleven Maisons d’art and more than 700 artisans, including embroiderers, pleaters, feather workers, goldsmiths, and milliners, who embody the timeless artistry behind fashion and decoration. Through la Galerie du 19M Tokyo, this extraordinary collective opens its doors to the Japanese public, inviting visitors to experience firsthand the living poetry of craftsmanship.

Divided into two complementary exhibitions, “Beyond Our Horizons” and “Lesage. 100 Years of Fashion and Decoration”, the Tokyo edition of la Galerie du 19M transcends the boundaries between disciplines, cultures, and generations. It is a meeting point of tradition and modernity, of precision and imagination, where materials such as wood, paper, earth, and textile become vessels of human emotion and artistic dialogue.
