2007 Autumn/Winter collection theme is associated with western detail represented as Native American style. There are a lot of items found including notable denims and high quality leather/cashmere items.

2nd floor where connected by an outside stairs, is opened for gallery space. And the opening exhibition “doctrine” by Hiroki Tsukuda is in session until November 18, 2007.

Welcoming by a big animal standing proudly in front of entrance, the space is filled with art itself! This cow or buffalo alike objet, it’s said that this is a “Stuffing of Ezoshika” from Hokkaido (Of course, it’s for real). The mask of the plastic model is applied to the face, and the specially-made jacket has been worn to the body. How dignified appearance it is for this opening celebration!

Moreover, wavering projected graphic image are mirrored on the screen, and many of collages art work which is made up by number of photos are displayed over the wall.
This active artist support will be continued by the pace once every three months as to provide them with an exhibition place and its opportunity.

Many of people now visit to this Diesel Denim Gallery Aoyama on purpose to see artwork itself. Diesel is also planning on interacting artists from both Tokyo and New York side in the future. To find an “Art to wear”, it is a place worth stopping by…
