Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design has trier student and graduate’s exhibition at Souththampton row site. This college has been known as finding well known artists and designers for over the years. Christopher Kaine and Marios Schwab who got major attention at 2007 s/s London fashion week were the ones of them.


The students are encouraged to join different awards and competitions during trier study, which seems like helping them to create high-quality products and designs. In this exhibition called “Direction 2007” you can see some commercialized products or the others already got some awards.


Patrick Morris who belongs ceramic design, exhibit “Hanging Garden”. The plants are ritually hanged from ceiling but still keeping water in it. The idea and technic are extraordinary and got 2006 UK new designers award of ceramic design.


Those who got new designer of the year was Tom Stables from product design. He made small pretty projector. When you connect it to any kind of digital cameras, you can project the images to any flat surface. There must be lots of demand for this products. Also his other creation, switch plates which also can hold card, keys or any daily staff as you like, is also seems very convenient and stylish design.


BA Fashion division showed whole projects of Central Saint Martins cat walk show sponsored by Loreal. It includes design illustrations, pattern cutting, textile, casting, make up and photo shooting. From the show some of designers have been found and debut to the collections.


You can also see graphic design, jewelry design, photography division’s works. It must tell you that they have a good place to be be creative as students influence each other with great value of passion for creation, as well as trier good culicurum and teachers.
