Causeway Bay has always been a big playground for people to shop and have fun in Hong Kong. The new shopping mall Delay No Mall (DNM) would be the next cool place for hip youngsters to wander about. Even the name of this mall has an energetic meaning, which fits to the area perfectly, it means to do the things you want right now and right here, no more delay!
This two-storey mall has an old-fashion cinema outside, while on the inside is a hub of more than 50 international and local brands, from fashion and beauty to lifestyle, such as L.A.M.B., Justin Davis, Melissa, Alessi etc. The mall also showcases local independent designers’ products, giving them a great chance to show off their products and also giving us a chance to get to know the design scene in Hong Kong. Familiar names in Hong Kong such as Kapok, 24 Herbs, Know1edge are part of the team.
In order to keep the mall new and fresh, some shops in DNM are just “pop-up” concepts, meaning shops will be constantly regenerated. New products and brands will be found very often. On top of that, DNM creates interesting limited edition products with artists and brands. The most updated project is collaborating with pop-artist Ron English to create a series of products out of famous icons, like Barack Obama and Abraham Lincoln.
Apart from fashion, DNM gives surprises by featuring a chic designed bar, café, sleeping pods, even a tattoo parlor. Exhibitions and events take place in this multi-functioned mall as well. Delay No Mall pushes the boundaries compared to the existing shopping malls in the city and it introduces young culture and act-now concept to the shoppers. Go have a look if you are around the corner!
