WONDERLAND

“Wonderland“, a visual essay focusing on dreams, the imagination, the surreal and the divine was released from Die Gestalten Verlag, which published “Romantik” last year.
Works from “Wonderland” can be described as a visualisation of the moment which exists in the real world with a definite intensity, while those which from “Romatik” is as a visualisation of the longing for the antique or classical expression.
There is, however, a feeling of floating in every work in this book, which is always flowing without staying on the one place. The strength in the phenomenon captured from a moment can be brought by a contradiction that those images are not supposed to be stable.
In this connection I may add that women might be an universal symbolic image for “strength” and “unstableness”, for many works use the image of women as a motif.
