A retrospective book of Japanese art collective Chim↑Pom, “We Don’t Know God: Chim↑Pom 2005-2019” has just been published by United Vagabonds. The moment I touched this book, I instinctively thought this was a piece by Chim↑Pom. I felt an excitement from the unique texture of the cover and inner papers. This book is special in terms of offering readers a limited experience called Chim↑Pom.
It also attaches a commentary appendix and compiles their activities done over the past 14 years. It covers early works to the latest, divided into five chapters.
The book kicks off by the ‘Grand Open’ exhibition held at ANOMALY in November 2018.

What is astonishing about Chim↑Pom, is that they are not just displaying, but redefining the art experience. This glorious piece is most suitable for the grand opening of the book.
