“HERE MAN”, a new graphic art exhibition abstracted with people motifs by the design unit “Wabisabi” based in Sapporo will be held from December 1st to 28th at Clark Gallery + SHFT.

Wabisabi was formed in 1999 by Ryohey “WABI” Kudow and Kazushi “SABI” Nakanishi. They work from advertising to graphic design, objects, movies, interior designs, constantly creating and publishing original artworks not staying in client work , even after winning numerous design awards both in Japan and abroad.

This exhibition will showcase a new work “HERE MAN” which can be seen as an evolutionary form of their photographic work “Dorone“, digital output subjects with unknown identity drawn by computer that exhibited at the same gallery in 2014. Subjects such as Benjamin, Deborah, Hans, Jean-François, Maggot, Morgan, Pamela, Sharon, Sol, Susanna, and Valencia etc. are the portraits of the eighteen people but unidentified and their facial expressions can’t be found easily which will be the highlight on “here”.
