Pixelgarten

Graphic Design and Illustration for a book about narration. In particular about the german author Alexander Kluge who creates new forms of story telling. The design is classical but uses a lot of different fonts. Each font represents one aspect of Kluges work. The illustrations try to visualize his special writing-style.

The Swiss based “Form” is the oldest design magazine in Europe, if not worldwide. We did the cover-design, a poster and 5 illustrations for the 50 anniversary issue of the magazine. In a playful way we experimented with different printing techniques. The illustrations are a combination of photographed objects and vector-illustration.

Pixelgarten

Um was es nicht geht as a photography project we did. We tried to create 3d illustrations in real space, using us, paper and other objects in our studio.

This is tomorrow. Poster design for a lecture about former visions of the future. The poster design plays with mistaken and funny statements about the future. The lecture was held by Martina Hessler.

Pixelgarten

Vierpunkteins. Poster Design for a project at last years Frankfurt Book Fair.

What plan do you have in the future?

Our heads are full of plans and ideas, which is very exciting at the moment. In early 2008 our first book project will be released and we will be part of some exhibitions with our art projects. We are really looking forward to that …
