During Milan Design Week 2021, a special exhibition “In the Making” will be held at ISSEY MIYAKE Milan store designed by Tokujin Yoshioka, from September 5th to 19th.
Twenty years have passed since the “Making Things” exhibition, the special exhibition at the ISSEY MIYAKE store in Milan introduces the latest eco-friendly works of two new brands launched this year, “IM MEN” and “A-POC ABLE ISSEY MIYAKE” with their original displays, as well as new ISSEY MIYAKE products curated in line with the purpose of this exhibition.
In addition, A-POC ABLE ISSEY MIYAKE presented “TADANORI YOKOO ISSEY MIYAKE,” a collaboration with artist Tadanori Yokoo. The motif of this special project is the invitation cards for the ISSEY MIYAKE Paris Collection, which Yokoo has been working on since the 1970s, and it offers both the pleasure of looking at the pictures and the pleasure of wearing the clothes.
