KAWS TOKYO FIRST Exhibition visual
“KAWS TOKYO FIRST”, the first major exhibition in Japan of the New York-based contemporary artist KAWS, will be held at Mori Arts Center Gallery in Roppongi from July 16th to October 11th.
KAWS’s works include paintings, murals, statues, graphics, products, street art, and AR art, etc. He has established a solid career in the last 20 years, and continues to fascinate not only art fans but a diverse audience of all backgrounds.
This exhibition, his first major exhibition in Japan, will feature more than 150 works, including paintings, statues, and products, ranging from his early works to his latest, and will trace the trajectory of KAWS’s unique artistic production, which encompasses both commercial art and fine art, and its significance in art history. The exhibition will also include works from KAWS’s private collection by artists who have influenced him.
