Functionality versus art is no competition in this case as Third Drawer Down joins both forces to create everlasting pieces for the home and office.

Abbie Crompton of Third Drawer Down is one talented and creative cat with a great team beside her. From tea towel beginnings to a multidisciplinary design crew, TDD is creating products in collaboration with the biggest names in local and international artists and museums.

Third Drawer Down

The TDD shopfront / boutique is located in Fitzroy, along with their headquarters; the home of each creation and homebase for international liaisons. With an invitingly genius “Come In, We’re Closed” sign, the retail space holds products such as Yayoi Kusama jigsaw puzzle, Kudamemo fruit pads, Bodega Wall Art and Giant Object collections.

But collaborating is what they do best and what sets them apart from the rest on a global scale. Innovative and cunningly creative limited edition products such as their Artist 100% Linen Tea Towel art pieces, along with Miranda July Pillowcase Set, Vuk Vidor x Art History Silk Scarf and New Museum collaboration Mystery Multibox.

Constantly creating, keep an eye on their excitingly ever-changing gallery space showcasing rare highlights such as design duo Confetti System, and upcoming Kiosk from New York. An easily awesome store, with a 24/7 webshop to boot.
