EDVARD SCOTT

PEOPLEText: Yurie Hatano

Could you tell us about the solo exhibition “Everything Works” in SOSO?

“Everything Works” is an idea I’ve had for a long time. I’ve mixed all the good ideas I’ve had over the last years, ideas that have been unsuitable for my clients/collaborators for different reasons, “Everything Works” is the product of all this. This may sound like an unorganized bad idea, but I’m convinced I can handle this mix of ideas and make everything work, and the graphic outcome astonishing.

Do you have any artists, things or happenings you’re influenced by?

Maybe it sounds pretentious but I guess everything around me affects me. It’s really hard not to let your feelings and other influences effect what you choose to produce.

What is the concept of the SHIFT cover and the original posters?

As I mentioned above this is all just giant hotchpotch of ideas swimming together in one pool.

Do you have any projects as a freelance designer in the future?

I hope so. I’m doing a record cover for a Swedish indie anthology this summer. Super exciting project!

What do you like to do the most except working?

Discussions. Movies. Music. Friends. Politics. Travelling. Eating. Drinking. Partying. Working. And so much more. (Words where written in a random order)

Please leave a message to the readers!
