“Today’s Exhibition” by Asuka Kunimatsu, a sculptor representing Hokkaido, will be held from May 18th to June 13th at Granvista Gallery Sapporo.

Asuka Kunimatsu was born in Otaru City in 1947 and graduated with the degree of Sculpture in Tokyo University of the Arts. He has worked numerous public sculptures from the late 1980’s to the 1990’s and since 2000 he has produced works composed of stainless steel sheet materials and iron wire materials. In this exhibition, not only his past works, but also several new works will be exhibited and sold in the gallery.

Also on May 19th, Memorial Talk Session & Reception will be held with Asuka Kunimatsu and Kenzo Kosuge (graphic designer).
