Donna Wilson’s exhibition “My imaginary wonderland” will be held at CCC, from October 23rd. She is an award-winning product designer based in England known for her knitwork of various creative creatures.
Her cute and unique style has gained critical acclaim from the design and textile industry all across the globe. She bases her inspirations from mysterious events and people that she meets in her daily life and evolves them in to characters that lure us into the imaginary world.
The creative creatures are nothing like commercial characters as they encourage fans imagination (creativity) and love for the characters through their ambiguous and strange appearance. Recently she has expanded her creative field from traditional knitwork to ceramics.
In this exhibition, talk and workshop, we will be seeking the secret behind her magic, and learn how to make an independent brand that puts focus on handmade quality and craftsmanship.
