“HUMANITY” EXHIBITION
The first exhibition “HUMANITY” will be held from June 4th to 25th at Rikka Azabudai, curated and directed by Ayaka Koshiba, which will open in June 2021 inside Atlantic Cars Limited.
The exhibiting artists are Nanae Mitobe, who has been drawing anonymous faces and celebrities from the 70’s to the present day in Europe and America, and Natsuki Takayama, who explores the meaning of human existence in society by redefining the distance between people and the world through art. This exhibition spotlights these two contemporary artists who reexamine human beings themselves in the process of creating art and sublimate their work.
Rikka Azabudai and Omotesando will both be hosting exhibitions featuring unique Japanese and Asian artists, as well as contemporary artists from overseas who have yet to be seen in Japan. Having experienced the pandemic caused by the new virus, our lifestyle has changed dramatically. Rikka Azabudai will be a place where Japanese people, who have begun to understand the benefits that enjoying art can bring to their lives, can encounter art that will change their lives.
