Celebrate its 40th anniversary, at The National Museum of Art, Osaka special exhibition “Travelers: Stepping into the Unknown” will be held from January 21st to May 6th.

Through the works of more than 40 Japanese and foreign artists, including artworks of Pipilotti Rist, Peter Fischli David Weiss, Robert Rauschenberg, Tino Sehgal, Robert Smithson, Paul McCarthy, Chu Enoki and Chiharu Shiota, etc. from collection, the exhibition will shed light on various aspects of our society by examining things that have been imbued with time, history, and memory from a wide range of views. It will also consider the future potential of the museum.
