In the autumn of 2015, the “Preis der Nationalgalerie” will be awarded for the eighth time – to international artists under the age of 40 who live and work in Germany and who have opened new perspectives of art with innovative artistic approaches and impressive works. And its exhibition holds at Hamburger Bahnhoff Contemporary Art Museum, till January 17th, 2016.

So far, the nominees were artists who are active in the world such as Olafur Eliasson, Katharina Grosse and John Bock. The four artists shortlisted for 2015 are Christian Falsnaes, Florian Hecker, Anne Imhof and Slavs and Tatars.

On September 18th, an international jury of experts will decide which of these four nominees shall receive the Preis der Nationalgalerie.
