From July 23rd to September 8th, an exhibition “World of Reiko Sudo and NUNO” will be held at Granvista Gallery Sapporo. It had passed 30 years since her large-scale exhibition “Structural and NUNO” at Sapporo Citizens Gallery in 1985. The textiles by brand “NUNO” (textile) she established, a textile designer, has been permanently stored at the world museum and gained a high reputation.

For the time, exhibiting sketches drawn ordinary by designers of NUNO, prototypes, their feelings for textiles, encounters and exchanges of the textile artisans throughout Japan, and the process of making one piece of fabric.

Including some unrealized ideas and original textiles which had changed technically. And it introduces what NUNO’s textile has been continued to attract us, as a genderless, in areas such as body and space, and to walk towards the future. During the exhibition, pop-up shop will be appeared.
