The solo exhibition “The Great Circus” by Tomoo Gokita will be held at Kawamura Memorial DIC Museum of Art from August 31st to December 24th, 2014.

Tomoo Gokita has created mainly illustration genre and showed his extraordinary talent. That has significant impact on the sub-culture of the 1990s. Meanwhile his large scale canvas works received high evaluation from art parties overseas, his solo exhibition at Mary Boone Gallery, N.Y. in January 2014 produced a lot of reaction.

Kawamura Memorial DIC Museum of Art introduced his 12 artworks in the exhibition in 2012. Then this time, it will showcase his about 40 works include unpublished abstract paintings, latest works which has been created for this exhibition.
