Kobe Fashion Museum will present the exhibition “Treasure Box of Fashion” from April 12th to July 8th, 2014.

With the idea “Fashion is a mirror”, Kobe Fashion Museum has collected, exhibit with their original perspective, from Western costume from the 18th century to modern, national costume of the world including Japan, wearable items such as textile, shoes, hat, fan, accessories, and perfume to things of various medias such as photos, posters, prints, films, videos, magazines, and books so far.

This exhibition is aiming to ask “What is fashion?” and “With the strength of Fashion” by 123 excited fashion of various fields. Many costumes as masterpieces of fashion history beyond the region and age, build beautiful mysterious world by using the unique showing approach and original mannequin more than 10 kinds, make-up, and hair and makeup.
