The solo exhibition “NEW OPEN AREA” by Yosuke Yamauchi will be held at Kobe Art Village Center (KAVC) from January 25th to February 9th, 2014.
Recently the artist is interested in “city” because of his some experiences that he find town planning with a focus on the park when he have traveled in New York, Minneapolis, and the post-quake reconstruction project of Shinnagata which he lives.
The title indicates that he try to make Kobe “NEW OPEN AREA” through the exhibition. Please expect how he can approach to this challenge as an artist who creates two-dimensional works.
