Fukuoka Art Museum will present the group exhibition “In Search of Critical Imagination” by emerging artist from January 5th to February 23rd, 2014.
This exhibition will feature the six artists Tetsuro Kano, Naho Kawabe, Yasuaki Onishi, Aiko Tezuka, Takayuki Yamamoto, Terue Yamauchi who are challenging toward the realm of invisible/unknowable which dispersed in the form of social system and rules. By displacing and reinterpreting the existing frame, their works adopt the problem of experiences and perception. Then, their works urge us to reimaging this world.
In this exhibition, the six artists will present the new works and the works that have not yet been released in Japan. Some related programs such as the opening event, work shop, artist talk, curator gallery talk, and designer curator talk will be held diring the exhibition.
