V1 Gallery and Eighteen was founded in 2002 and it is located in the meatpacking district of Copenhagen. At Market Art Fair they exhibited an eclectic band of contemporary Danish artists, including Husk Mit Navn, who has been previously featured in SHIFT.

Most of the art pieces exhibited at Market Fair were sold including works from James Ulmer, Monika Kim Garza, Sara-Vide Ericson, Kaspar Oppen Samuelsen, John Copeland, Todd James, Richard Colman. You can take a complete look here.

There were many other galleries and artists, you can find all the information at Market Art Fair. All in all, the occasion was a celebration to evaluate the current status of the Scandinavian independent art scene with a careful assessment of healthiness, daring and vibrant.
