Kaori Kojima’s exhibition “Individuality” will be held from August 4th to 31st at Clark Gallery+SHIFT in Sapporo, who has been expanded her own creative activities such as graphics, drawings, paintings and installation, with producing ad designs as a graphic designer.

She has been changed the style of her works in 5 years little by little, from watercolor to handwriting, and from handwriting to graphics software. As free trial expression as an artist unnoticeably affected her business work, there might be felt her unique and hilarious aspect somewhere in the forms of works changing one after another.

This time, the title “Individuality” includes the meaning of private, personal and individual. Then, she will exhibit the latest digital works and install production space as a private office in the gallery. There she will create ZINEs in public such as printing and bookbinding as limited on weekend. It’s a kind of personal creative activity, but visitors also might receive stimulation and hint that “I want to try to make something myself.”
