Photographer, Isao Nishiyama’s photo exhibition “Behind The Scene” is holding at iTohen, a books cafe gallery in Osaka till January 31st. He is an author of visual journal “Studio Journal Knock” as visiting worldwide artists who face their “expression” and spelling each daily life, and also he is a stoic with strong vitality enough to do all production process such as negotiation, interviewing, shooting, editing, designing and issuing alone on the spot each where he visited.
For this exhibition, he shows about 50 pieces focusing new works. These are his own selection in a large amount of photos which he has been shot while wishing “please be in the photo…” in the past, including portraits of artists, their aspects facing works enthusiastically and landscape that he has visited to meet them.
On January 30th and 31st, talk events will be scheduled from 17:00 to 18:30 each day (Fee;1,000 yen with 1 drink). Please feel and touch his breath, which approaches artists’ background of producing works and their true face that opposite the loneliness and conflict.
