The “miffy 65 exhibition”, an exhibition commemorating the 65th anniversary of the birth of Miffy, created by Dutch picture book artist Dick Bruna, will be held at PLAY! MUSEUM (Tachikawa, Tokyo) from July 10th to September 12th.

The “miffy 65 exhibition” opened at Matsuya Ginza in Tokyo last summer, and is currently touring the country. This exhibition at PLAY! MUSEUM will add a new dimension of fun to the traveling exhibition through introduces the story of Miffy, her family, and her friends, with detailed explanations of about 250 items, including valuable original handwritten drawings, sketches, and notes. There will also be a large installation using Bruna colors and lines, as well as a participatory exhibit where anyone can become Miffy, making it a fun experience for everyone, from children to adults.

In addition, the museum’s store will offer many original goods commemorating the 65th anniversary. Also the cafe will offer a limited menu of drinks and food, including latte art.
