An exhibition “Model” by up-and-coming artist Hoshiki Ara who explores new painting style will be held from March 13th to April 18th at hpgrp GALLERY TOKYO.

Hoshiki Ara creates a new image by reconstructing various elements that stimulate the memory and imagination of what they see through their own filters.

The works of him may look alike to digital collage combining portrait and graffiti creating abstract graphical patterns at first glance, but closer you will find those slight brushstrokes and oil painting material.

The opening reception and artist talk will be cancelled to prevent new coronavirus infection.
