DOCUMENTA 14
The documenta 14 will be the fourteenth edition of the art exhibition documenta and will take place 2017 in both Kassel, Germany from 10 June till 17 September its traditional home, and Athens, Greece from 8 April till 16 July.
Artistic Director Adam Szymczyk has proposed a twofold structure for the exhibition, as reflected in the working title “Learning from Athens.” Adam Szymczyk was born in 1970 in Piotrków Trybunalski, Poland. Before working for documenta, he was Director and Chief Curator of Kunsthalle Basel.
The list of participants includes approx. 150 artists, most of them presenting works or projects in both cities, plus works by more than 50 artists who have already passed away.
