Aando Fine Art in berlin holds Andriane Wachholz’s solo exhibition “sediMENTALS” till April 15th. Her work ranges in an overall time medial dialogue by focussing on combinations of diverse contemporary and traditional media.

In the current exhibition, the artist has developed time axises of a classic, traditional graphite drawing through symbiosis of drawing and video projection. Using drawing as her medium in combination with the utilization of specular reflection by an analogous projection, Wachholz recreates a suspenseful area between reality and media confirmation as well as between surface and space.

In her recent work, she analyzes the specific elusive and ephemeral attributes of surface, structure and materiality. She veers away from the sole perception of a picture and scrutinizes materiality as a form of projection and its transformation. “sediMENTALS” challenges the confined ways of human ability to view and imagine existence over a period of time.
