ATSUSHI TOYAMA “STRANGE LINES”
NEWSText: Aya Shomura
A new gallery, Knot Gallery will hold “Strange Lines” exhibition by Atsushi Toyama, an illustrator/artist as its first exhibition, from January 30th. It’s gonna be a new spot as “knot” with relating people.
In reversal of paintings at “Color of Time” exhibition last year, he will show line drawings this time. He says it’s “drawings of instant killing.” For example, eternity of moment, gospel & Chinese dishes and birds, knights and guardian dogs with neutrino (?!). You could enjoy his world of free line drawings mixed the various times and the locality, bold and dense.
And it’s possible to make and get T-shirts of your favorite one among the exhibited works at 4,000 yen (excluded tax, except for some works).
