Seth will be in NYC this Wednesday for the opening of his new exhibit, THE GREAT NORTHERN BROTHERHOOD OF CANADIAN CARTOONISTS at the Adam Baumgold Gallery. The exhibition will remain on view through October 12th to November 23rd.

A new book has emerged from media artist, lecturer and writer Mauro Arrighi on the topic of Japanese new media arts. “Japanese Spell in Electronic Art,” looks at the role of religion and spirituality in technology and how tradition and innovation are merging in contemporary Japan. From the Gutai Group’s performances decades ago to the work of AEO, the book’s insights shed a bright light on the origins and aesthetics of media art, hybrid and device art made in Japan.
