Yuma Yoshimura‘s solo exhibition will be held from July 29th to August 13th at CALM & PUNK GALLERY in Tokyo. He is a Tokyo based artist who presents monochrome precise two-dimensional works and mural-size works both in Japan and abroad.
He sees feelings such as “uncertainty” and “chaos” that he (and everyone) experience in everyday life as universal motifs, and has drawn monochrome works carefully, utilizing multiple material and methods such as acrylics, marker, spray paint, aluminum panel and needles.
In this exhibition, which will be held for the first time in four years in Tokyo, the artist who was away from the obsession with “drawing” once, will rediscover the main point of his work by cutting the viewpoints that increased without his knowledge, going back to the starting point to sharpen the form.
