6th AAC Aichi Art Center performance

The exhibition “Big-one-Pipe”by an artist group “hyslom” (Itaru Kato, Fuminori Hoshino, Yu Yoshida) will be held at Social Kitchen from March 14th to 24th, 2013.

It is the event of a new project called One Year of Exploration (OYE!). The huge instrument sculpture work of column shape which is 4.8m in length, and 1.5m across with lots of springs will be showed in the exhibition.

Hyslom has been periodically exploring spaces that are undergoing urbanization, with a focus on physically experiencing these changing environments with their bodies. In addition to documenting the process through video and photography, they are experimenting with an array of other methods, including diary-writing, sketching, sculpture, performance, and acting out the roles of the people they have met in the field.
