It‘s called “Cut Mars Black” because most of the artwork is papercut or a mixture of papercut and pencildrawing and the colors she is using have inspiring names like yellow primrose, cobalt teal and – mars black.
The gallery manager of Cafe Pause is Jean Snow, a Canadian author who writes for various online and offline publications about design, pop culture and gaming in Tokyo.

The cafe is an interesting place, with monthly get-togethers of Tokyo-based creatives. These meetings are called “Pause Talks” and are initiated by Jean.
