CôME ÉDITIONS

In the first place, what was the reason of collaboration with Senegalese women?

It is a familiar country to me because my family is connected to Senegal and I had been on vacation there many times. In addition, our boutique-showroom in Paris is originally CSAO (Senegal & West Africa Company), a shop that sells products from West African artisans and artists through fair trades so the collaboration with Senegalese NPO La Maison Rose has begun. When launching Côme Éditions, we considered social activities are the core of business activities, rather than just making and selling clothes. In fact, embroiderers earn 20% of their jacket sales, roughly 60-80 € per piece. This is ten times of the average local market price.

今Do you plan to collaborate with other NPOs in the future?

Of course! There are women in France who have been affected by domestic violence as well. We will collaborate with NPOs that support those women and provide them to work in order to be economically and mentally independent from this year.

Côme Éditions also collaborates with major brands such as Bon Marché and Monoprix.

We have been collaborated with famous designers and brands such as Castelbajac, Bon Marche and Monoprix etc. The collaboration has been a great opportunity to try new things that I don’t usually do, and it has increased the brand recognition. I want to continue doing this in the future.

Côme Éditions is now gaining much attention in the industry. This ethical brand with such a small but firm philosophy will drive the future fashion industry.
