BACKJUMPS ISSUE #2

HAPPENINGText: Yoshito Maeoka

There was a very interesting project on the corner of the plan, It is called Gallery Automatique. Inside of a capsule toy bender there is a relatively bigger red capsule; and each of those store works of each artists. Guests put one Euro in the bending machine, and they will not know what they will get until turning a lever. It is what you call a treasured art casket.

In the capsule I got by putting an Euro, there was a quartered small photograph (color printed) and a paper with the name and email address of the artist. It seems to be basically a set of a work and a cutline was inside of each capsules.

Furthermore, as far as I saw, there was a work that stuffed a capsule with punched 192 colors sample from Gerhard Richter’s postcard, or wrapped up films that the artist had already taken with packing paper with a writing says it is needed to be developed.
