The solo exhibition “sora iro” (color of the air) by Soya Asae will be held at Art Tower Mito from July 27th to October 27th, 2013.
She is a emerging artist who leads the young artists in Japan. Her artworks using things around us or expressing landscapes of our trivial moments, attracts the attention from when she was in graduate courses. As if it has a light itself, her shining installations stimulate sense of touch beyond our visual sense. It brings us the illusion like our body is enveloped in light.
The exhibition showcase her the first video installation “sora”, the new installations using light and color and her represent works.
