The exhibition inspired by “JAZZ” will be held at Cross Hotel Sapporo from Sunday, June 2nd to Saturday, August 31st in the duration of the Sapporo City Jazz which is the yearly summer event in Sapporo. This exhibition will be the eighth edition of “ART X” curated by SHIFT.

Since its opening in 2007, Cross Hotel Sapporo has been giving a series of art exhibition of the “ART X (cross)”. From 2011, the ART X has featured the Hokkaido-based artists and shown their artworks to the world in collaboration with SHIFT. Machinaka Art project is the project which aims to fill the city with art and to create friendly environment for people to familiarize themselves with the art, with the participation of some galleries, artists and shops.

During the Sapporo City Jazz, you will enjoy jazz music in the later part of June at the Cross Hotel Sapporo. Please enjoy artworks by Hokkaido-based artists, which express their own jazz world, along with the fantastic music.
