HAPPENINGText: Yuki Ishida

A visualer Kimiyoshi Futori exhibited a collaboration work with a company, dealing with fittings and Japanese towel. The theme is “route/root” The work is impressive with mechanical feeling like a belt conveyer and tender beauty of long Japanese towel.

There’s a striking building Daichi Kosuga Building which enshrines at the intersection at Asakusa Bridge. Inside is as distinctive as the outside and there were wonderfully artistic works exhibited. It was a must-see place filled with works like a white chair wholly wrapped in beads by Flask, an interactive work made with UniteBows‘ pattern, and a drawing which consists of ovals by Nobuto Fukutsu.

“Bakuro AD 2004” exhibited original advertisements for local shops (Tonkatsu restaurant, Japanese sweets shops, cafes, etc…) on a passageway at JR Bakurocho station. It’s a suitable project for CET which think highly of communication with local. What the original local adverts like, created by gorgeous members Lallasoo Poopo Lab., Tsuyoshi Hirooka, Dainippon Typo Association, Tsuyorhi Kusano, Yutanpo Shirane, Atsushi Toyama, ASYL CRACK, Mooog Yamamoto, Ten, Hitoshi Odajima, Keita Ishiguro, Terunobu Maeda, Koh Chihara (Planning & arranging)? On the last day, there were some artists who were still working on their works even after the closing party finished. (cooperated with PRINT’EM by Mitsubishi Paper Mills)
