Last year, the international art fair “Unknown Asia” was held at Grand Front Osaka with 118 creators exhibiting. This year, the fair will be back at the same venue between September 16th and 17th.

In the spirit of “ASIA IS ONE,” UNKNOWN ASIA aims to create value for art by providing artists with various opportunities. The committee invites famous art directors and gallerists in Asian countries including Japan as judges. Artists won the grand prix and other awards will be granted opportunities such as exhibitions at omnibus art events inside / outside Japan to introduce their artistic talents. Also business matchings opportunities by sponsors and participation organizations are one of the supportive programs by the UNKNOWN ASIA.

This year’s exhibition, which is in its seventh year, will be open to exhibitors from March 15th to June 18th. It is looking for a wide range of Asian artists who continue to create their own works, regardless of genre, including contemporary art, photography, graphic design, illustration, fashion, and plastic arts.
