The exhibition “I put this here by Scheltens & Abbenes” will be held at limArt, in Tokyo. Scheltens & Abbenes are the artists based in Amsterdam.
The specialty of Scheltens & Abbenes is to meticulously arrange objects – chairs, glassware, shirts, perfume bottles – into configurations that have a strong two-dimensional or graphic character.
They showcase the series of “Hidden Objects” that they shoot items of revolution on the turn table, the commission work of books “The Most Beautiful Swiss Book”, the series of the object of coat hangers. They explore quite new expressions with their appreciation for the history of photograph. You can meet the artists in November 23th.
