There was another work related with soil. Megumi Matsubara had a workshop with children of school for the blind to make shapes using clay. Small pieces created by them were exhibited with texts and those caught people’s much attention.

There was at least an exhibition that had atmosphere of museum in every venue. Ali Cherri’s work, “Fragments” was one of them. He is French artist and has been studying archeology with French and German labs. Theme of the festival “Homo Faber: A Rainbow Caravan (Trip of creative human) ”matches very well with his work.
Ignas Krunglevičius “INTERROGATION” Suijo Building Site. Work about letters, color, and politics
Ignas Krunglevičius (Norway) is an artist who makes acoustic and visual installation and projects with sound and video. Other than his work, characteristic point of this site was a lot of works using letters, language, voice, and sound like one with sound of living things by Chris Watson (England), one with audible language by Kio Griffith (U.S.), and installation with human voice by Takehisa Kobayashi.
